ESL Dubai event group draw

The group draw for the ESL ESEA Pro League Invitational in Dubai has taken place, with the eight participants having learned their fate in the competition.

ESL and ESEA will be hosting from September 10-12 a $250,000 invitational tournament in Dubai as part of GAMES 15, an annual expo dedicated to the video gaming industry.

The competition will see the eight participants split into two groups of four teams, who will compete in a best-of-one, double-elimination stage.

Cologne champions fnatic will take on Titan in the first round 

The top two sides from each group will automatically advance to the single-elimination playoffs, which will use a best-of-three format in the semi-finals and a best-of-five format in the title decider.

Meanwhile, ESL has revealed the complete prize distribution for the three-day tournament, which will see the winner take home $100,000 - the exact same prize that the winner of a major gets.

7-8. $7,500
